Witney & District Museum is a historic museum in the heart of the Cotswolds. Supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund we designed a permanent gallery experience for the Bartlett Taylor Gallery. In collaboration with exhibition designer Sam Brown, we worked with museum staff and volunteers to co-design the space and displays, ensuring local stories and community perspectives shaped the visitor experience.

The gallery brings together thematic exhibitions exploring Witney's history, industry heritage and culture. A low-intervention exhibition architecture was designed to respect the character of the Grade II listed building while enhancing opportunities for display, interpretation and engagement.

Inspired by the town's industrial heritage, we created an visual identity and exhibition system that transforms the museum into more accessible and engaging space. Sustainable materials, interactive digital installations and hands-on experiences encourage exploration, while a clear visitor journey creates an inclusive and engaging environment that connects audiences with Witney's past and present.

Witney & District Museum

Townsend Farm is a family business in Herefordshire growing apples to produce single varietal juices and natural cider with wild fermented yeasts. 

The entire process from growing to juicing is carried out on the farm by Jamie Hall and a small team. Their aim is to celebrate how seasonal changes and farming practices shape the unique flavours of each batch, year on year.

Townsend Farm breaks from convention, reimagining traditional apple juice production. Our visual identity and custom typeface reflects this innovative spirit.

Broken, Burnt, Buried: Ritual Lives of Objects in Ancient Egypt explores how everyday items were transformed through religious and ritual practices across thousands of years. Drawing upon the Petrie Museum’s extensive collection, the exhibition highlights and re-investigates all of the different ways that objects were damaged in Ancient Egypt, and why.

We designed the visual identity, interpretation and marketing graphics in both Latin and Arabic script.

The In Crowd: Mod Fashion and Style 1958–1966 is an exhibition at the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery that explores the influences on the Mod look, its impact on youth culture, and the enduring appeal of Mod style.

Alongside full outfits, clothing, and accessories, the exhibition also features archival photography, film, and ephemera that trace the origins, development, and lasting influence of the Mods.

Our design for the visual identity captures the spirit of the typography found in gig posters, magazine ephemera and television graphics from the period. Exhibition panels and labels make use of quieter, more refined typography that complements the clothing and photography on display.

The In Crowd: Mod Fashion and Style 1958-1966

Everything is Connected celebrates the opening of UCL’s new neuroscience centre. Each artwork asks how art, science and community can work together to exchange ideas and express the wonder of the human brain.


The identity was built in p5xjs using Brownian motion. Imagery was generated by a series of traced particles that create random connections over time.

Everything is Connected

The Townshend Studio is a creative space at the University of West London, designed for learning, collaboration, experimentation, and play. It features a collection of iconic synthesisers donated by Pete Townshend, co-founder and guitarist of The Who.

Our graphic identity expresses the innovative spirit of Roy Ascott’s Ground Course and the synthesisers themselves. Coloured acrylic and metal panels create a visual and material connection to the instruments. Throughout the studio, a network of stories, statements, histories, and images pay tribute to the radical legacy of Ealing Art College, Pete Townshend, and other significant local figures.

And She Built a Crooked House was an exhibition by Gemma Anderson-Tempini installed in Burton Grange, a Victorian house in Leeds. It was commissioned by Artangel as part of Leeds Year of Culture 2023.

Through drawing, installation, sound, AI and sculpture, the exhibition invited visitors to imagine the fourth spatial dimension.

We designed the identity, wayfinding, a booklet and an activity sheet for the exhibition.

And She Built a Crooked House

Ebbsfleet Citizen Archive is a community-led project by Cement Fields capturing and preserving the varied stories and histories of the people and places of Ebbsfleet, Greenhithe, Swanscombe, and Northfleet, as the area goes through a significant moment of change.

The website allows local residents and archivists to submit photographs, video and audio stories connected to specific locations in Ebbsfleet to create a historical record of the place that grows over time.

Views From Convalescent Hill is an online public collection exploring the heritage of wellbeing, rest, and care in Felixstowe.

Through oral histories and research drawn from archives, objects, and residents, the project aims to uncover and share personal stories and memories of Felixstowe as a spa town and a place for convalescence, while considering what ‘health’ means to people today.

For the project’s visual identity we designed a typeface inspired by lettering found in archival photographs of Felixstowe and created a set of viewpoint symbols. The website design features pages that overlay each other and an archive that rearranges as you explore it.

Our bold identity captures this spirit of curiosity and playfulness. It wiggles, twists and never stays still, creating an expressive graphic toolkit.

Leap Then Look

Two family trails, written and designed for visitors to Compton Verney, a house, gallery and park in Warwickshire. 

We designed a series of activities to introduce young people to key parts of Compton Verney's permanent collection of objects, which includes the largest collection of British Folk Art in the UK.

West London has been home to workshops that contributed to some of the country’s most iconic science fiction films and television shows. Set To Stun celebrates the people who created these imaginative worlds. The exhibition presents the work of set designers, model makers, prosthetic makeup artists, composers and many others.

Our graphic identity pays homage to the visually experimental title sequences of early sci-fi programmes such as Doctor Who and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. The exhibition design creates an immersive experience for visitors through the recreation of iconic sets and interaction with props. Bold typographic statements throughout bring the galleries to life.

We designed notebooks, magnets, stickers, and bags featuring iconic symbols and photography from the exhibition.

Set to Stun

Metronome was an installation by artist Sarah Sze in the old waiting room above Peckham Rye train station in South London, commissioned by Artangel. 

We designed the exhibition identity, large window vinyls, wayfinding and printed material for the project.

Play Interact Explore was an exhibition of interactive artworks by Leap Then Look at Towner Eastbourne.

The exhibition was developed through a series of workshops with four community groups in Eastbourne and Brighton with the goal of supporting and encouraging playful exploration and critical thought through art making. 

We designed a visual identity that referenced the artworks on display, exploring connection and collaboration through simple graphic shapes and playful typography.

Play, Interact, Explore

The Work is Gold Panda's fourth solo album. Starting with a photograph taken by Gold Panda during a 2007 stay in Japan, we designed an identity for the album campaign based on simple graphic icons relating to each track.

Gold Panda: The Work

sustainable | FOOD | art is an exhibition from Honey & Bunny held at the Austrian Cultural Forum exploring food culture and sustainability. Through their performances, installations and films, the duo play with food in order to explore the fundamental ways in which we shape the world every time we eat. There is a growing consensus regarding the negative impacts of our current industrial food system, from irreversible ecological damage to the degradation of labour and the gross inequalities of global distribution. By staging scenarios in which they outrageously ‘unlearn’ the rules of the table, Honey & Bunny question why we eat the way we do, and crack open the provocative possibility that we could, in fact, do it differently.

Our design for the publication presents a visual essay of the artists work with writing that engage with the themes of the exhibition. 

Honey & Bunny: Food Futures

The Directors is a collaboration between artist Marcus Coates and five individuals in recovery from different lived experiences of psychosis. Positioned behind the camera, each of them directs Coates in a filmed restaging of particular episodes from their lives.

The five short films were screened across five locations in Pimlico, in and around the Churchill Gardens Estate, each within a short walking distance of the other.

We designed titles, printed material, signage and wayfinding for the project. Through a simple use of strong colour and clear typographic treatment, our identity focused on functionality without overshadowing the important subject matter of the work.

The Directors

We designed a moving, colourful digital identity for the Upgrade Yourself Festival 2022 at Somerset House. 

For young people aged 16-24, the Festival aims to introduce emerging creatives to skills, mentoring and advice for working in the creative industries.

Upgrade Yourself

Sense Your Way is a workbook of creative prompts and ideas for young people. Made in collaboration with artists Leap then Look, the book offers creative strategies for making aimed at developing creative thinking and improving wellbeing. All ideas were developed and tested through a series of workshops with students from St Catherine's College, Eastbourne.

This project was supported by Sussex Learning Network and Towner Eastbourne.

Sense Your Way

Airspace is a collaborative, artist-led project in Stoke-on-Trent. Since 2006 it has worked with artists and the local community with a particular focus on its location and the socio-political landscape. 

We began working with Airspace on a new visual identity in 2019, through a workshop with local residents examining the variety of ways that typefaces can tell us something about a place, a person or an organisation. 

This led to the development of a set of custom letterforms that refer to the different aspects of Airspace's activities as a gallery, studios, project space and community organistion. 

A redesigned website uses these new letterforms in random variations to suggest new connections and unexpected conclusions.

AirSpace Gallery

Jacqui Hallum is a painter and recipient of the John Moores Painting Prize.

The book documents the growth and change that occurs within her practice, and within the objects that emerge from her studio. The typography throughout the publication was produced using Processing to ‘grow’ combinations of organic shapes around skeleton letterforms, mirroring the visual characteristics of Hallum’s work.

Hypersurface was a group exhibition at the Austrian Cultural Forum London. The featured artists were invited to consider technology as a way to perceive new realities through surfaces and materials. 

With alternate pages printed either metallic silver or green-screen green, our design for the exhibition catalogue intersperses essays and shorter texts with interventions and proposals from Barbara Kapusta, Simon Mathers, Florian Mayr, Hannah Neckel and Stefan Reiterer.

Noit–4: Reflections is dedicated to writing by Noa Latham about his father’s art and ideas. A mixture of memoir, interpretation and critical analysis, the publication is illustrated throughout by personal photographs and exhibition images of John Latham’s work, as well as printed ephemera found in the Flat Time House archive.

A variety of typographic treatments throughout the publication support the content as it changes in tone from personal reflection to interview. The larger format for this special edition of NOIT Journal allowed for a more generous range of image sizes as the photographs shift from close details to wide angle installation views.

Noit–4: Journal of John Latham's Art & Ideas

Building on a series of talks held between 2014–2017 in the Sculpture department of the Royal College of Art, Everything is Sculpture: Immaterial Constructions / Material Realities is a publication series that brings together a range of practitioners to explore new contexts and issues that concern the production and reception of sculpture today.

The range of subjects explored by each contributor, and the diversity of their approach is highlighted by contrasting type styles and sizes. The whole book is printed in a combination of metallic gold and black ink.

Richard Slee is a British Contemporary Ceramic Artist who has been producing work since the 1970s that challenges conventional ideas of Ceramic Art with humour and irony.

For his exhibition Work and Play at Tullie House Museum and Gallery, Carlisle, we designed a monograph of Slee’s work produced over the previous decade. Contrasting yet traditional typefaces throughout the large-format book helped to emphasise the playful use of colour and personality in many of the pieces featured inside.
